Professional Engagement
We are always looking for feedback from primary care professionals to co-produce and develop our surveillance and research work. We would love to hear views from across the general practice workforce including: GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, Social Prescribers, Care Coordinators, Practice Managers, PCN Managers, Digital Leads, and Receptionists.
Examples of the types of topics we may invite feedback on include:
- Feedback on our surveillance sampling processes: what works well for you and your patients, what improvements could we make
- Maximising the use of your surveillance practice-level dashboards: is there additional data to help your practice keep updated on circulating respiratory infections in your region
- Your views on how we can best use patient data to support public health, in ways that are most beneficial to practices and patients.
- Improving the uptake of vaccinations and your views on challenges to increasing uptake
- Development of research projects which aim to improve patient care, with a focus on the most vulnerable patient cohorts, such as those with long term conditions and those experiencing health inequalities.
Feedback opportunities may involve a 1-1 or a group discussion. We also welcome informal feedback, at any time, and in whichever format suits you best. And we can present updates on the Oxford-RCGP Research and Surveillance Centre to your staff and Practice Participation Group.
